ANIME IN THE LIMELIGHT SHOW NUMBER 5 BEGINS PATREON CAMPAIGN LAS VEGAS, NV – May 1, 2019 – Anime in the Limelight (AitL) announces the official start of their Patreon campaign to secure funding for their monthly music show. AitL is an ASCAP licensed, online monthly video show featuring the best in Japanese animation (anime) music. Hosted by the Legendary Anime DJ Max, the show has not only entertained, but has informed its fans on the many aspects of anime. Background on the shows, artists, producers and directors have been regular elements of the show. The Patreon campaign has launched in conjunction with the 5th episode and hopes to reach all fans of anime music. Join the Patreon effort at www.patreon.com/aitl “It’s all about the music,” said Guy Oni, Producer of Anime in the Limelight. “Since our beginning on the radio back in Hawaii, that has been our main goal. To get the sounds of Japanese animation to as many listeners as possible and now, with this new video format, we can include some of the sights as well.” Joining the Patreon campaign will allow the fans to be part of promoting the show and their love of anime music. Fans who take part will have a voice in the production of the show as well as the opportunity to get some great AitL swag. Buttons are currently listed but in the future pins, t-shirts and other items will be available. Additional short-format shows (AitL Extras) are planned on being made only for Patreon donors. ABOUT ANIME IN THE LIMELIGHT: Having started out as a radio show in Honolulu, Hawaii, in 1997, Anime in the Limelight (http://www.limepub.com) has brought to the world the greatest in anime themed songs, background music and game music from anime-based video games. It has been hosted by the Legendary Anime DJ Max who has included his insight as well as news and other information. From January 2019, in an online-only video format, AitL has continued this tradition, only now has included pictures and videos from these great shows.
